First of all: video is super BOSS!! that totally blows the rest right out of the water. Second: the field museum...so cool! I loved it there. The thing that I noticed most, outside of the collections was the comeradery between the librarians and other staff. It felt like it would be a really cool place to work. The rare books collection there was so neat! that old book from the 1400's(?) was so cool to see. The origional bird paintings with the stuffed birds was really neat too.
I'm with Kaia, awesome video AND blog. I laughed out loud and reminisced at the same time. I really enjoyed this library. Being in the rare books room was unreal. I couldn't believe how close I was standing to those Audobon books. Working there and being able to handle all of those books would be insane! The librarian and archivists were very personable and engaging as well.
I love this video, along with everything else. It pwns. The Field Museum was also pretty interesting, it still baffles me and forever will that Audobon's birds is the most valuable, especially after seeing some of what they had in their special collection!
